Healthy Family Program (YHSSA)
A voluntary home visitation program for families with newborn babies. Services
are initiated prenatally or shortly after birth. Family home visitors work
from a strength-based approach to promote healthy childhood growth and development,
positive parenting and parent-child bonding. Home visitors also link parents
to other services and programs in the community. Families can refer themselves
or be referred through their health care provider (doctor/nurse). There
is no cost for the program. They are located across the street from the Gibson Medical Clinic.
