Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program
The Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) is a federal initiative. The Regional Canada Prenatal Nutrition Coordinator provides support, resources, training and site visits to community based CPNP programs. The goal of the programs is to improve the health of mothers and infants by increasing access to healthy food, providing information to help mothers make better choices and promoting breastfeeding.

Services are available in Yellowknife and all other southern NWT communities. Communities in the Inuvik and Sahtu Health and Social Services Authorities are presently served through Inuvik Regional Health and Social Services Authority.
