Robert, now retired, was born in Fort Resolution. Most recently he served as Chief of the Deninu Kue First Nation. He has been involved in community politics since he was a young man. This included two previous terms as Chief and from 1979 to 1983 he served as a Member of Legislative Assembly. He has participated in numerous boards in the NWT including health, education and the environment. He has also served as a counsellor for the Deninoo Community Council and the Akaticho Dene First Nation. Currently he is on the Board of Directors for the Deze Energy Corporation. |
