Yellowknife Health and Social Services Authority

Yellowknife Health and Social Services Authority (YHSSA) provides a full range of
Health and Social services to the communities of Dettah, Fort Resolution, Lutsel K’e, Ndilo and Yellowknife. We are one of eight health and social services authorities in the Northwest Territories.

We work closely with Stanton Territorial Health Authority and the Department of Health and Social Services of the Government of the Northwest Territories.

We also partner with a number of community organizations, which are listed, in our Links under the Resources section.

Frame Lake Community Health Clinic (FLCHC) and the Yellowknife Primary Care Centre (YPCC): expanded services, and extended hours.

The Yellowknife Primary Care Centre (YPCC) opened its doors on June 22nd, 2010. Staff from the Family Medical Clinic, Gibson Medical Clinic, Great Slave Community Health Clinic, and Family Counseling relocated to the YPCC and FLCHC. There was some movement of staff to the FLCHC as well. The YPCC is located downtown at 4915-48th Street and the FLCHC is located in the Frame Lake Plaza.
